Birdstep Targets LTE and multi radio-carrier Operators world-wide with EasyConnect 3.3 Mobile Broadband Connection Management

OSLO, Norway – 1 December 2011 – Birdstep Technology (www .birdstep .com), a leading provider of wireless connectivity and security software, today announced the release of version 3.3 of its EasyConnect mobile broadband network profiling and automated connectivity solution that helps customers connect to the best network, no matter the device.

The new EasyConnect version adds support for ALL Wireless Networks to the list of supported networks, which means that an operator with Operations spread geographically can launch and run the very same client & solution, and provide the same user experience regardless of mobile standards in country of operation.

The first deployment of EasyConnect 3.3 is at a US based MVNO running both LTE (Long Term Evolution) and CDMA in their network. Birdstep's EasyConnect platform provides operators with an cost reducing solution that mitigates risks when introducing new technology such as LTE.
