Birdstep and Cell C supports Red Bull MOBILE with EasyConnect

OSLO, Norway - 13 September 2011 - Birdstep Technology (www.birdstep.com), a leading provider of wireless connectivity and security software, announced today that it has joined with South African cellular network provider, Cell C, to offer a smooth and easy mobile broadband user experience for Red Bull MOBILE subscribers.

Cell C has partnered with well-known energy drink brand Red Bull to launch a customizable mobile broadband offering. Red Bull MOBILE will use Cell C's network to offer both voice and broadband services.

Birdstep EasyConnect will be customized for Red Bull MOBILE and pre-installed on USB mobile broadband devices for pre-paid and post-paid subscribers in South Africa. EasyConnect Go is a customizable connection and service manager that provides intuitive connectivity handling and powerful solutions for operators to communicate critical information to end-users, such as support information and billing.
