Q: Which devices are supported?
A: EasySmart Go supports Android 2.1 and later releases.
EasySmart Advanced and Seamless are supported on Android 2.1 and later for selected device types.
Q: Which network bearers are supported?
A: LTE, HSPA, UMTS, EDGE, WiFi, WiMax
Q: What is the difference between EasySmart Go, Advanced and Seamless editions?
A: The "Go" edition facilitates hassle-free data offload to WiFi, Customer Self-Care features as well as quota/threshold warnings.
The "Advanced" edition extends this with features for secure access to mobile core services when connected over WiFi.
The "Seamless" edition provides persistence for all applications when the device moves between WiFi and the mobile network, in addition to Advance feature set.
The "Go" edition is delivered as an Android app while "Advanced" and "Seamless" requires a special "image" for the device.
Q: Does EasySmart support Mobile IP?
A: Yes, EasySmart Seamless supports Mobile IP v4. This means that all applications, including VoIP and VPN, will survive the move from the mobile network to WiFi and back.
Q: Can the EasySmart client be branded?
A: Yes, the client offers Operator presence on Smartphone and can be branded to offer the following: The operator branded EasySmart icon appears on the device home screen, and message notification area. Each subscreen/submenu can be branded with the operator´s logo and other visuals.
Q: Which Wi-Fi roaming aggregators are supported?
A: EasySmart supports the variation in username/login syntax required by the leading Wi-Fi aggregators.

Q: Can EasySmart be updated?
A: Yes, configuration and software updates to the EasySmart Go client are made through the Easy management server (EMS). User segmentation, such as e.g. prepaid and postpaid can be leveraged to target updates.
The client sends environment information such as device model, firmware version, OS, language which can be used to further narrow the update targeting and also for the collection of service usage statistics.
