Information Policy
The purpose of the policy is that the market shall be able to
trust the value of the information delivered by Birdstep.
This means that Birdstep:
- will only distribute information of relevance or of such a
character that might potentially affect Birdsteps valuation
on the stock market
- will not make a comment on customers, partners, competitors or
other companies business
- will not give comments or estimation on future financial
results or expected business but rather on what is
already accomplished
Basic Principles
Birdstep shall, at the same occasion, deliver correct, relevant
and trustworthy information to all its owners, the general market,
society and the media.
The revenues from EasyConnect contracts are mostly linked to the
adoption of users under the contracts, which are uncertain by
nature, making it difficult to evaluate the significance of the
contracts when awarded. Consequently, Birdstep Technology doesn't
announce standard EasyConnect contracts when they are awarded, but
updates the financial market on the contracts won during the last
three months when the quarterly results are announced. However, to
provide transparency on an important key performance indicator,
Birdstep Technology on the 10th of every month, or the first
trading day after the 10th, discloses the previous month's
activation numbers applying to the products EasyConnect Go and
Advanced.
For SafeMove the company will issue stock exchange announcements
for contracts exceeding €100,000 in value.
The information policy follows the rules and regulations set by
Oslo Stock Exchange.
Information that can influence the stock market valuation shall
without further delays be distributed in the form of a press
release to the Oslo Stock Exchange (OSE Filing) and immediately
thereafter to established news agencies and the daily press through
a publishing news agent. The information will also be published on
the Birdstep website.
