Migration Assistance
This service is designed for customers upgrading versions or switching between products (ours or someone else’s).
The Migration Assistance service provides one week of formal training on the new features, functions of the target product (2-3 days) followed by discussions and design work specific to their project needs.
The formal training will include Birdstep database concepts as well as specifics related to the product purchased. When migrating from non-Birdstep products, the formal training will include a subset of the training provided in the Jumpstart offering. The database components and level of detail in the training will depend on attendee database knowledge and experience. For those migrating from RDM Embedded to RDM Server, training will be focused on the differences in the two products.
The training and discussions require the attendees to be technically proficient at software development, database usage, and the product they are currently using.
