The Birdstep Device Management Server (DMS) is a centralised server designed to manage the Mobile Operator’s fleet of connectivity client software.
The provisioning server ensures that the client is always up-to-date with the latest configuration data, client software updates and new services, functionality that is crucial to the success of large-scale client deployments
DMS is compliant with Birdstep EasyConnect and SmartConnect clients, on Windows, Symbian and Windows Mobile OS. DMS can be installed on a server at the customer premises or is available as a hosted service from Birdstep Technology.
