New order from Major Nordic Mobile Operator

Birdstep receives new order to upgrade mobile broadband access zones for major Nordic Mobile Operator. The order includes hardware and software products and an upgrade to next generation high end service management system. The project will be delivered during the fourth quarter and generate revenue for the fourth quarter

Oslo, 2 November, 2007 - Birdstep Technology ASA, the leading provider of secure seamless connectivity and mobility software for laptop, PDA’s and Smartphones, has received an new order from an existing major Nordic Mobile Operator customer to deliver a upgrade of the existing service and access management platform. The upgrade will include Birdsteps next generation high end service management system that will deliver up to 50% improved performance compared to existing system.

This upgrade to Birdsteps next generation service management system will be a great benefit for many large mobile broadband access zones at airports, hotels and other public spots.
