“The launch of SmartVoice enhances Birdstep leading mobile data offering with mobile voice over IP. We leverage ten years of expertise and knowledge from data connection management and seamless roaming into our voice over IP offering. SmartVoice utilize Birdsteps patented technology for seamless roaming.
SmartVoice has been developed by the subsidiary VoiceRoaming Technology AS, a subsidiary that is owned to 55% by Birdstep and 45% by TeleVenture, the people behind Telenor Venture.
The SmartVoice technology is already being demonstrated at the 3GSM conference in Barcelona, and is available for trials during Q2 2007. To find out more information about SmartVoice or book a meeting at 3 GSM World, please send a e-mail to meeting@birdstep.com visit us in Hall 2, Stand 2B79.
