Birdstep awarded OEM contract on Mobile IP from major US telecom router manufacturer

Birdstep has been awarded a substantial contract on seamless mobility (MIobile IP) products to a major US based telecom router and switch manufacturer. The product will be licensed and embedded into several network router products for mobile operators all over the world.

Oslo – June 4, 2007 –Birdstep Technology ASA, the leading provider of secure seamless connectivity and mobility software for laptop, PDA's and Smartphones, today announced a new order from a major telecom equipment manufacturer. The order includes Birdsteps software product for seamless mobility. Birdsteps commercially successful mobility product will be integrated into the telecom equipment manufacturers network routers, to be sold all over the world to service providers and mobile operators.
