Birdstep "SmartRoaming" wins Nokia award for best product on Series 80 devices

Oslo/Stockholm – December 6, 2005 - Birdstep Technology (OSE: BIRD) today was selected as the Forum Nokia PRO Award Winner for the best enterprise application on Nokia's Series 80 based, WLAN enabled Smartphones.

The Forum Nokia PRO Awards 2005 recognize significant contributions to driving innovation in the mobility industry, among PRO members in seven categories. The awards are designed to broaden awareness of the most innovative and successful work in the mobile solutions and applications field. Birdstep Technology was the winner of the category for enterprise applications on Series 80 devices.

The Birdstep Mobile IP Client and SmartRoaming Service
