Birdstep wins major managed services deal

(Oslo, December 7, 2009) Birdstep Technology has been awarded a managed services contract from a Nordic operator. The contract value is 6,8 MNOK.

Birdstep has been awarded a two year contract to manage the service production of an Orbyte solution from a Nordic operator. The value of the contract is 6,8 MNOK.

Orbyte is a carrier-grade proven, highly scalable service and access management system for broadband network operators and service providers. The end-to-end system allows network operators to rapidly deploy and manage large networks with advanced features for subscriber authentication, accounting and service management.
In order to provide increased transparency to the financial market Birdstep Technology issues stock exchange announcements for contracts exceeding €100,000 in value.
