Birdstep upgrades T-Mobile to new web n’ walk manager software platform

Birdstep receives additional orders on upgrading T-Mobiles connectivity client, to a new platform. The new platform is called web n´ walk Manager and includes high speed data support for HSDPA 7.2 cellular modems 

(Oslo, October 3, 2007) Birdstep Technology ASA, the leading provider of secure seamless connectivity and mobility software for laptops, PDA’s and Smartphones, today announced additional orders on upgrading T-Mobile cellular connectivity client to the new web n´ walk manager platform. The new platform will support high speed mobile data and several cellular modems with HSDPA 7.2. The order also includes delivery of Birdstep Device Management Server to monitor and control the fleet of deployed web n´ walk Manager clients.

The web n´ walk Manager, based on Birdstep's patented technology, has been marketed by T-mobile lately. The upgraded version has a new a further improved user interface that has been developed with new usability design guidelines to provide an interface that is easier to use. The interface is also adapted to the new graphical guidelines related to the web ´n walk product family.
