Birdstep upgrade KPN mobile broadband client to Microsoft Vista and MAC OS X

~ Birdstep expands existing relationship with KPN Netherlands by receiving orders to upgrade to Microsoft® Vista® as well as MAC OS X. The orders also include laptop software licenses to cover for 2007 growth~

Oslo/Stockholm/Cambridge/San Francisco– April 26, 2007 –Birdstep Technology ASA, the leading provider of seamless connectivity and mobility software for laptop, PDA's and Smartphones, today announced further engagement to deliver laptop software licenses to KPN Netherland including a product upgrade to Birdstep EasyConnect. The order includes both an operating system upgrade to Microsoft® Vista® and MAC OS X as well as additional high speed modems for both operating systems.

The EasyConnect software will be used by KPN to provide their subscribers with leading edge client technology for seamless connectivity and access to KPN's mobile data offering. This upgrade continues to push forward their leading position on the enterprise market.
