Birdstep Technology receives substantial order from T-Mobile

Birdstep Technology has received the first substantial order on laptop licenses for fourth quarter 2006 under the recently signed long term Frame Contract.

Birdstep Technology and T-Mobile Group recently signed a long-term frame contract on product development, software License Distribution and software Maintenance with T-Mobile International. This order represents the first substantial order on laptop client licenses under the frame contract.

The T-mobile Communication Center (TMCC) product, based on Birdstep's patented technology, has been marketed during the autumn and the number of new users grows continuously. With higher market take up than expected, T-Mobile have now placed this additional order on licenses for 2006.
