Terje Christoffersen

Terje Christoffersen has been acting Chief Executive Officer of Birdstep Technology ASA since January 1, 2008. Mr. Christoffersen is a partner of Interforum Partners AS since August 2007. From 2001 to 2007 he held positions in TeliaSonera AB Group Executive Management in Business Area Mobility and Marketing, Product and Services. From 1997 until 2001, when the company was acquired by TeliaSonera AB, he was President and CEO of the Norwegian mobil operator Netcom ASA.
From 1987 to 1997 Mr Christoffersen held various management positions within Hewlett Packard including Managing Director for HP Norway, HP Sweden and Nordic region. Christoffersen has served on numerous boards primarily within the IT and telecom industry and now serves as board member of Norway Post (formerly, Posten Norge) and Hafslund Infratech ASA.

Halvard Hedemark holds the position as Chief Financial officer at Birdstep ASA. Prior to joining Birdstep Mr Hedemark was Financial Manager at Ementor ASA were he was active in the acquisition of both Atea and Topnordic amongst others.
Mr Hedemark brings more than 8 years of financial experience in all phases of financial management. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and International Finance from Norwegian School of Management.

Before joining Birdstep Torbjörn Sandberg held the position as CEO at Service Factory (now part of Birdstep Technology), where he led the development of the company’s new strategy and turned the operations into profitability. Before that he was Vice President, Business Operations at WaterCove Networks, where he was responsible for the European roll out of WaterCove’s products and services. WaterCove Networks got sold to Alcatel in 2004.
Torbjörn has also had an extensive career with Ericsson, having held a number of executive and senior positions, most recently as VP Sales & Marketing Ericsson Home Communications. Torbjörn holds a M.Sc. degree in Industrial Management & Engineering from the Linköping Institute of Technology.

Before merging with Birdstep Mr Mujunen was Managing Director of Secgo Software Oy. He has previously acted at BEA Systems Inc. as Vice President of Nordic Operations from 1996 until 2000, as Managing Director and entrepreneur at Client Server Technologies Oy from 1991 until 1996, in a managerial capacity in sales at Oracle Finland Oy from 1989 until 1991 and in sales and in a managerial capacity in sales at Digital Equipment Corporation Oy from 1983 until 1989.
Mr Mujunen is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Profium Oy and a Board member of SYSOPENDIGIA PLC . He is Chairman of the Steering Group of Creative Tampere Program. Member of the ICT Committee of the Tampere Chamber of Commerce since 2002
Steinar Sande

Steinar Sande has 22 years of solid experience in sales and business development from international companies such as IBM, Sun and Computer Associates. Mr Sande joined Birdstep in April 2000.
Sande has run the database business in EMEA for several years, successfully building new business. He relocated to Seattle in early 2004 and is now the CEO of the database division.
